NFL ratings are down. And they aren’t down by a fraction of a percent, but are down by double digit percentages. For a product that is essentially the same as it was last year, or the previous years, such a rapid decline is shocking. Ratings for “Monday Night Football” are down a staggering 24%. The decline for “Sunday Night Football” is 19% and “Thursday Night Football” is right behind them with an 18% decline.

Fully free from the responsibilities of being a father. 75% of black children live in a single parent (that parent being the mother) household. At least uneducated white men are fathers to their children.
Most of my African American friends are very successful, very educated, and don’t play football. They also give a lot of their time to causes to help people. I don’t say this in any way as a criticism of black football players, in the least. I just don’t think this is about race. People are just tired of the politicization of sports and entertainment. Life is hard enough without bringing politics into the things (sports, movies, etc.) that many of us use to escape from the problems of the world.
Those who imagine themselves to be free of the US should go to their real homeland to be truly free.
Let them think what they like, while we keep boycotting the NFL. It’s working.
We’re tired of whiney multi-millionaires who think they have to add a “cause” to our favorite pasttime. Maybe we’re rethinking who the real heroes are - and they’re not on the football field.
They are not fully free. They are slaves. The slavery is imposed on most of them as they grow up in a broken family and they learn that 'the man' is out to get them.

I watch Ivy League football when I can. Slower, more fundamental. A lot of white guys not that athletic. It’s like “I can’t catch this ball over the middle. I’ve got a chemistry mid-term coming up.” Better yet: “I can’t make this tackle. I’m going to be a surgeon.”

I like to watch the Patriots because they’re actually patriots. Love watching a bunch of guys who were undervalued because of their whiteness totally DOMINATE the rest of the teams who are mostly completely racially unbalanced.
I can’t imagine anyone here at FR cheering if a player yelled “White Power” during the anthem.

Not too long ago, the Democrats courted these voters. They called them “blue collar workers” that provided for “working families”.
It is my hope that black Americans take notice ... These people have names for you too ... And they’re not as benign as “uneducated”. They simply won’t use them in public since you seem to vote to keep these bigots in power. Trust me, they’re not the sympathizers they pretend to be in front of cameras.
