My understanding is that he relinquished control of those stocks to his daughter to hold, but he continued to make payments of taxes on those stocks
The value of these stocks in no paltry sum; there are 10's of thousnads of stocks there.
Those stocks that she holds are still in his name, so it is Podestra that has more current business contacts in Russia than Trump

When you can't verify, right there at the voting booth, that your vote was cast the way you wanted, the vote is "iffey".
There is no paper trail, only confirmation of the total numbers of votes cast.
Electronic machines can and have been tinkered with to adjust the vote.
The software is considered "proprietary" and NOT SUBJECT TO INDEPENDENT REVIEW.
Soros owns interest in voting machines; I trust Obama..(spit !) more than I trust Soros. Enough said !
We all need to go back to paper ballots, and a verifiable paper trail.
