Anti-Israel protesters who crashed a pro-Israel event in London last Thursday targeted female students planning to attend the event, physically attacking Jewish girls both on the way to and inside of the venue.
The event, held at the University College London, featured a talk by former IDF soldier Hen Mazzig.
As previously reported, BDS activists stormed the event, trapping participants in a room. Police ultimately intervened, warning those trapped not to attempt to leave the room before officers gained control of the situation.
The protesters, however, apparently did far more than merely trap those participating in the event. According to The Algemeiner, the pro-BDS activists targeted female students both outside of and inside the event, physically attacking them in a scene a senior official at the Simon Wiesenthal Center said was reminiscent of pogroms by Nazi street gangs in the 1930s. …

Not altogether, but mostly left-wing and certainly pro-“Palestinian”. It stands for “Boycott, Divest, Sanction” (against Israel).
One would be amazed at how even a 5 shot .38 snub is a fine riot gun. Riots and things like this happen because they are fun.

I think it stands for ‘boycott, divest, sanction’. I used to think it was Bush Derangement Syndrome....but that wouldn’t apply to the protests against Israel.

Thugs like that only do what they do, because they don’t think they are in any danger.
Keep telling yourself that you don’t need to meet force with force, that the authorities will “take care of the problem”, or that the problem will “just go away” in time.

Those people inside should have been in fear of their very lives. All bets should have been off the table for self protection.

It’s a shame more of the victims weren’t armed, even with just a knife, and that the terrorists were not stabbed and killed after throwing the first punch. Decent people should not be afraid to engage in civic discourse, and terrorists, even those who “just want to administer a beat down” deserve to die on the spot.
But it was London. Not even the cops there are armed. And a civilian using arms in self-defense would be jailed. Like NYC, NJ, MA, CT...

True, it is London. If I lived in London, and a relative of mine was jailed for protecting themselves, the police would regret their decision.
In my opinion, if you enforce an immoral law, you deserve to be punished. The people who enforce and write immoral laws, should be made to fear for their lives, and the lives of their family.
Guns may be outlawed many places, but gasoline and matches are cheap by comparison. Nobody expects a home visit at 3AM.
