Trying not to watch or to be on pins and needles. Probably checking some thread on FR every 5 minutes and trying to keep up with the posts.
Eventually either anguished or outrageously ecstatic or exhausted and go to bed waiting on the AM.
Mostly just a pile of crap anxiously awaiting the outcome. Just like now.
Netflix. Probably watch Shameless, that seems apt no matter who wins.

I’m an Elections Inspector. There are several things that need to be done after the polls close, and those chores take longer when it’s a contentious election, AND when there’s no real love for either candidate.
I’m expecting to be there past midnight. I’ve already requested that Wednesday off to recover.

I plan to play a drinking game where I take a drink every time a MSM idiot cries. I fully expect to be admitted to the emergncy room for alcohol poisoning at some point during the night.
OK. How about something inspirational, uplifting and motivational. Animal House, Blues Brothers, Let's Go to Prison, Office Space, Zulu, etc. Or shows more appropriate to the political spirit and shortened attention span like Roller Derby, professional wrestling or hockey. "Jackass " movies are just fine.
If I can't sleep, I'm going to sort and count my ammunition. Even if I can't sleep all night, it should keep me entertained (3,001, 3,002, 3,003...). Maybe I'll paint some "nose art" on a few of them. Maybe microstamp a few ("to whom it may concern", "this one's for you", "have a nice dirt nap" or whatever).
Or maybe I'll just do a few things I've been meaning to do for a long time, like cancel FIOS TV, apply for a retirement visa in Thailand and clean the cat litter box.
Trump wins....pour me a fine bourbon over ice and celebrate.
Hillary wins....won't see much else till noon the next day.

I will be working Get-out-the-Vote in PA until the polls close. I’m not a PA resident, but it’s the closest key state in the election to where I live. I’ll be working the whole time (note: I may get deployed in response to Black Panther style voter suppression instead; that has happened in the past).
Probably a Pizza and a nice big bottle of Vodka. Maybe Chicken Wings and beer. I’ve not decided yet.
First thing I am going to do is offer some prayers of thanksgiving. I have been praying for years to delivered from this pestilence, and often in my life when I am blessed with an outcome I have been praying for, I forget to give thanks. So I will be sure to do that first and then let the party begin! I will have to be sure to get a nap in the afternoon.
I want to have snacks every hour beginning at 7 Eastern until I fall sound asleep after Trump is declared the winner. Any suggestions?
Tuesday is our regular Irish Session at the local pub. I’m working the polls and we’re usually done by 8:30-8:45. Other Tuesdays I play rec basketball, dry off and hit the pub in my sweats; next week I’ll be in my workin’ the election finery for a change.
I’m going to try not to focus on the TVs over the bar and enjoy the music. If they call me up to sing (as they sometimes do) I’ll be doing “The Winds Are Singing Freedom”.
