Good points! Of course Hillary & Huma knew! And I am certain that Obama knew. I would not be one bit surprised if higher ups in the DNC and some reporters at CNN, MSNBC, ABC, Washington Post, etc knew this before the FBI case was reopened. The surprise in this entire matter is that some accountability in this matter is even an issue. Hillary has lived her entire life involved in scandals and getting away with fraud and other crimes. She has been able to do this by having a lot of friends in high places. She and Huma ran the State Department ignoring basic security rules. She got away with it when Comey wimped out in first FBI investigation just like she always has in the past. She is invincible with all of her corrupt backers helping her out. So yes, she had to have known all about Huma and Weiner’s shared laptop with hundreds of thousands of State Department emails on it. But she did not think anything would come of it. Comey had already closed the FBI case and had proven that he was easily intimidated and afraid of being accused of influencing the election. She still plans that her cohort of lawyers and friends in the Justice Department, the DNC and media will change the narrative. And she may still be successful.
Not this time, and here's why I think that: there are two people who are more untouchable than the Clintons: the Obamas. On account of their race, the left, the media, and large portions of the American public cannot abide anything smearing the reputation of Barack and Michelle Obama. In order to survive the private server/Clinton Foundation chicanery unscathed, everybody in the media and on the Dem side of the government will have to make protecting HRC the #1 priority for the next four years at least. This means that questions that arise, for example, about Obama’s sending emails to HRC’s private server are not going to be answered by blaming her to any degree. Well, that won't do; Obama will not take any blame at all for mistakes of HRC. No, folks, the Clintons no longer have enough in the bank to sustain them for more than four years, which is what they'll need if she wins this election and she wants to tough it out through at least one term. She will be governing while the subject of a criminal investigation and will need the Dems to both run their own investigation of the FBI and to NOT ask her to resign for the good of the country. Will they do those for her? I don't think so. Not anymore.
