“And [HRC] may still be successful [in getting away with it].”

Not this time, and here's why I think that: there are two people who are more untouchable than the Clintons: the Obamas. On account of their race, the left, the media, and large portions of the American public cannot abide anything smearing the reputation of Barack and Michelle Obama. In order to survive the private server/Clinton Foundation chicanery unscathed, everybody in the media and on the Dem side of the government will have to make protecting HRC the #1 priority for the next four years at least. This means that questions that arise, for example, about Obama’s sending emails to HRC’s private server are not going to be answered by blaming her to any degree. Well, that won't do; Obama will not take any blame at all for mistakes of HRC. No, folks, the Clintons no longer have enough in the bank to sustain them for more than four years, which is what they'll need if she wins this election and she wants to tough it out through at least one term. She will be governing while the subject of a criminal investigation and will need the Dems to both run their own investigation of the FBI and to NOT ask her to resign for the good of the country. Will they do those for her? I don't think so. Not anymore.

Interesting points. We have already seen Obama back away somewhat from Hillary’s current spin of the story, trashing Comey. Obama refused to trash him, much to the consternation I am sure of Hillary and her cohorts. However, Obama has still got to want Hillary to win the election, because if he loses, Trump’s win is a statement against Obama’s legacy. Trump has promised to un-do Obama’s policies, while Hillary has promised to continue the path Obama has set us on. Now we have seen a little backing away by the Democrats, but not much. And let's face it. Where do Democrats get their news? Most are not terribly informed because it is not in the interests of the left to fully report matters without spinning the facts. Will we see the political elites stepping away from Hillary? I don't think so. At least not yet. Definitely there will be some in 4 years. When I said that Hillary may still win, I was considering all the fraud that her party encourages at the polls to bring forth a win in the election, and how she will control the current crisis when she is in control of the Justice Department and the FBI, with her friends in the MSM cheering her on. I was thinking of the dead voting. Felons voting. Illegal aliens voting. People voting multiple times. Voting machine fraud on Soros machines. Hacking of the systems. The lawsuits against removing the dead and ineligible voters from the rolls. Your everyday Democrat political hack at the local level doing his or her best to swing the election to Hillary. If she wins the election by whatever methods are used, I think she can pull off yet another major scandal. But with all the revelations from Wikileaks it is not going to be the smooth sailing she hopes for. And she will have to be careful to keep Obama's legacy from being tainted.
