This is just another version of “depends on the meaning of”; in this case, “staying true to his vow.”

So basically, Kasich was for the presidential nominee before he was against the presidential nominee.

Throughout this campaign, Ohio Governor John Kasich has stated that he does not intend to vote for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. On Monday, he proved his word is his bond.

Bullshit. He vowed he would support the Republican nominee -- on stage, in front of millions -- and he broke his vow.

So glad he promised to back the republican candidate early in the primary season

I thought his first vow was to support whoever the final candidate turned out to be - this is his back-stabbing renege “vow”....

This voting in AZ, good idea. Reciprocate for JK and write in his name over McCain. In a tight race it might sink him

I have ever thought well of professional politicians, and Kasich is one of the worst of all.

By violating his vow to support the GOP candidate Kasich confirmed he belongs to the large community of lying and untrustworthy political hack populating the corrupt political system in the US.

I held my nose and voted for McCain in 2008 because he was the only alternative to placing a candidate in the White House whose declared primary objective was to change the legal system defined by the Constitution. Subsequently McCain’s behavior has demonstrated he is completely corrupt and was not worthy of my vote. If I were in a position where could not vote for either candidate, and was contemplating a write-in, McCain would not even be on my consideration list.

Welcome to FreeRepublic. There are a lot of Ohioans on this site who don’t appreciate your sentiments. And we’re no fans of our governor.

No, Kasich pledged that he would support whoever became the GOP nominee.

Kasich is a liar and a very dishonorable person. Just like the Clintons.

Soooo, Kasick made a vow to break his word and dishonor himself by dismissing his signed pledge?
OK, got it!

“F U OHIO, YOU ARE SO USELESS! IM SO MAD IM ALMOST IN TEARS. I expected so much better. Dumbass state full of rubes as it always shows. I can’t wait until DONALD shows how the game is rigged. UGH IM SO ANGRY AT YOU OHIO.”

Don't be mad at an entire state.

Just understand that Kasich is a dishonest, Soros funded, Clinton stooge.

OK, that’s one vote.

No, it's still zero votes. McCain doesn't have an elector slate registered, so it doesn't count at all.

An ineffectual vote for an ineffectual man.
