We heard about the IP addresses to Clinton’s server— where else did they point? My guess- middle east.
And since he did not name a special prosecutor, he has to go with whatever the FBI says. Obama has no choice bu to let Hillary hang herself on this one.

The moment I heard the news on Friday about Comey re-opening the investigation, I too smelled a rat.
What happens if Thurs/Fri, Comey announces there is nothing there, but he had to be sure?
Momentum swings towards Killary, who comes out looking like the victim of a right-wing conspiracy hell-bent on stealing the election. That’s how the Lamestream will portray it.
I don’t trust Comey as far as I could throw him.

Are they trying to force Clinton to step down so Pence gets elected instead? Sacrifice her for the good of the party, despite what she wants?

Comey's trying to save his sorry ass by doing the right thing, finally. He's not going to blow it.
Actually, it's just as well that he failed to do the right thing on the fifth of July, since, then, the Donks might have been able to recover. Their convention was a couple of weeks later, and 712 unpledged superdelegates could simply have nominated Crazy Bernie, to wild acclaim by the moonbat base.
In any case, there is no way the FBI could say with a straight face that they had reviewed 650,000 emails, eliminated duplicates, etc., in just a few days. And if they tried, they would find the damage to Hillary already done.
My own theory is, Comey put his ear to the ground, heard a building rumbling sound, realized the polls were wrong, and decided to try to land on his feet.
Not a rat, but probably a pardon. A great big one. No allocution, however, because Obama’s going to need a size 40XL one himself.
Generally, the tail does not wag the dog. While I'd like to believe that FBI higher ups are men of integrity and place doing what's right above all; I think it's more likely that most of them are not prepared to put their pensions and retirement in jeopardy.
As Shultz would say, "I see nothing ...."
With some folks looking to change their original vote already, can you imagine the chaos of them doing that, then Comey says some thing that makes them want to again change their vote?
I don’t think Comey will say much to help hillary this time. He knows he is in deep doo-doo already from both sides.

If Obama really wanted to sink that vile woman, he could issue her a pardon, right now.
I don’t see it as they are not “prepared” to put their pension and retirement on the line as much as some are selfish and unwilling to put some thing like that on the line in order to do the Right thing.
too many folks idolize power, money etc over doing the right thing. Like Chuck Colson former wh counsel - from watergate - lost it all chasing power etc, found Jesus on the way to prison, after prison God gave him so much more then could imagine :)
Too many people cling to their pension and similar expected things and maybe miss some thing better God had waiting.
Comey may survive this investigation and remain director (albeit a weakened one) after Trump takes office, it all depends on what happens next.
With what ProjectVeritas and WikiLeaks have out there it doubt she will be viewed as a victim.
It might only take a few, nearing retirement anyhow, to blow Mrs. Clinton out of the water—if she is even still in it.
Thousands of emails. It will take longer than a few days to study them all. It's possible that Comey or somebody else will try to downplay the investigation, but there won't be an official decision before the election.
