In his last few months in the Senate, Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, isnt pulling any punches -- especially after the recent revelations by FBI Director James Comey that more emails were found that could be related to the Clinton email probe.
The pugilistic Reid, who plans retire after finishing out this term in Congress, penned a blistering letter to Comey Sunday, accusing the FBI chief of holding back explosive information about Donald Trumps close Russian ties while possibly violating the Hatch Act by reviving the Clinton email investigation.
Your actions in recent months have demonstrated a disturbing double standard for the treatment of sensitive information, with what appears to be a clear intent to aid one political party over another, Reid wrote, adding that through Comeys partisan actions, you may have broken the law.
The Nevada Democrat went on to insinuate Comeys violation of the Hatch Act, which prohibits activity directed towards the success or failure of a candidate by executive branch employees.
[Y]our highly selective approach to publicizing information, along with your timing, was intended for the success or failure of a partisan candidate or political group, Reid wrote.
One example Reid posited of the selective approach: Comeys methods in investigating Donald Trump and his campaigns possible ties to the Russian government.
In my communications with you and other top officials in the national security community, it has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors, and the Russian government - a foreign interest openly hostile to the United States, which Trump praises at every opportunity, he said. I wrote to you months ago calling for this information to be released to the public...and yet, you continue to resist calls to inform the public of this critical information.

CBS is now moving into Infowars territory reportingland!
How do I address FR ‘bon mots’ from spamming many threads with cartoons and gifs that totally screw up my system. While sorta clever, they contribute nothing to the conversation and tie me up for quite a while in a circle of garbage. I sometimes have to shut down completely.
I have sent FR mail with no response.
And Infowars has been reporting a great deal of legit stuff that msm is not reporting due to their lib-bias.
Yeah. He’s proud of his lies.
Hey Harry - there’s a room waiting for you at “the home.”
It wouldn’t be the first time that he’s put out a baseless accusation to smear a candidate. He did it to Romney too.
We can only hope that Harry Greed gets caught in the whirlpool when President Trump drains the swamp!
Beyond fabrication, out and out Big Lie techniques.
Harry Reid is an admitted liar when it comes to making up stories to influence elections. Any so called news organization who bothers to print his lies isn’t a news organization, it’s nothing but a political party ad.
Harry Reid needs to go behind the gym, to fight a treadmill. I’m not sure who’s win.
Yup...Reid claimed Romney didn’t pay his income taxes...
Total fib.
Well, they have to have something to report, and since they and the rest of the MSM are blacking out wikileaks and almost everything negative about Hillary, they need to fill up air/internet space. But, thanks be to God, the word is spreading like wildfire, anyway.
So is Obobo. He’s out campaigning. No member of the executive branch includes him!
President appointed and Senate confirmed Federal positions are exempt from the Hatch Act. I’m guessing Comey is good to go here.
POTUS & VICE POTUS are exempted as are other big shots.
The Hatch Act is only for the executive branch so that answers my question on Reid.
