Top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin has told people she is unsure how her emails could have ended up on a device she viewed as her husband's computer, the seizure of which has reignited the Clinton email investigation, according to a person familiar with the investigation and civil litigation over the matter.
The person, who would not discuss the case unless granted anonymity, said Abedin was not a regular user of the computer, and even when she agreed to turn over emails to the State Department for federal records purposes, her lawyers did not search it for materials, not believing any of her messages to be there.
That could be a significant oversight if Abedin's work messages were indeed on the computer of her estranged husband, former congressman Anthony Weiner, who is under investigation for allegedly exchanging lewd messages with a 15-year-old girl. So far, it is unclear what — if any — new, work-related messages were found by authorities. The person said the FBI had not contacted Abedin about its latest discovery, and she was unsure what the bureau had discovered.

I read a story yesterday about this latest Hillary scandal that noted that IMAP software can store copies of all email on any computer that it's used with. I remembered that Thunderbird is IMAP, so I checked. I have every copy of every email I ever sent, or received for work, on FIVE computers at home. The emails date back to 1999. They include confidential emails from Army Tank Automotive Command. This is even after I participated in a technical lawsuit and testified to a judge that I had deleted all emails from that activity. It turns out, they were only deleted from my computer at work.
I am moderately proficient with PC technology, and this came as a complete surprise to me yesterday.

It was once said that AR would vote for Mr. Bill even if he were caught “raping a nun while robbing the widows’ and children’s fund.” But AR did reject him twice, once for Congress and once for governor. AR may not be Mrs. Bill’s strongest state this time either.
I would hazard that when she used her Yahoo account, the home computer had an email app on it that was set to auto-login so Weiner had easy access to everything that hit Yahoo - maybe he saw the need for insurance more than she. orrrrrr - she purposely worked with him to save them because she knows how toxic Hillary can be to those who turn out to be inconvenient to her.

Hey, that’s not proper procedure. You’re supposed offer the suspect immunity, to allow the suspect to selectively turn over the evidence and destroy the rest.

More likely answer: these two computer illiterate idiots (Weiner and Huma) had no idea how cloud services work and they were using a joint account.
Judging by his history-Comey has been benefiting from and protecting the Clintons for many years- I suspect it is all about how to sterilize information and bury it. Comey doesn’t want a trip to figurative Arkansas.
The theory is that it was easier to print stuff out from Yahoo and Mrs Bill is uncomfortable trying to read from a screen so Huma printed things out for her, which means there are paper copies of this classified stuff lying around somewhere, too.
The FBI agents are digging into this and Comey is digging alongside a hole to try to bury the stuff as they dig it up.
Maybe when she was younger, but she's turned into a Bony Maroni, IMHO.
Chelsea is up to her eyeballs in the Clinton Foundation. She is one of the co-conspirators in this RICO operation (along with her husband). If there is an honest investigation she may also go down.

This is exactly the same defense used (unsuccessfully) by most Internet pervs who are convicted.
Someone (Huma, her husband, whoever) could have just set the "Mail forwarder" settings on Hillary's domain account to forward a copy of all mail to the yahoo address, or anywhere they wanted. Anyone not familiar with domain account control panel and it's settings would never know it was happening. Just one of the reasons why this private unsecured server thing was like a leaky sieve.
