Democrats should ask Hillary Clinton to step aside
The Chicago Tribune ^ | October 28, 2016 | John Cass

Posted on 10/29/2016 6:44:16 AM PDT by right-wingin_It

Has America become so numb by the decades of lies and cynicism oozing from Clinton Inc. that it could elect Hillary Clinton as president, even after Friday's FBI announcement that it had reopened an investigation of her emails while secretary of state?

We'll find out in a little more than a week.

It's obvious the American political system is breaking down. It's been crumbling for some time now, and the establishment elite know it and they're properly frightened. Donald Trump, the vulgarian at their gates, is a symptom, not a cause. Hillary Clinton and husband Bill are both cause and effect.

FBI director James Comey's announcement about the renewed Clinton email investigation is the bombshell in the presidential campaign. That he announced this so close to Election Day should tell every thinking person that what the FBI is looking at is extremely serious.

>>TRUMP is the ‘vulgarian?’ Incredible.

That’s a badge to wear with pride.

Vulgarian - a vulgar person, esp one who is rich or has pretensions to good taste

Vulgar - Of or associated with the great masses of people; common.

Trump is a man of the people who is also rich. The elitist snob who wrote the article doesn’t mean it that way, but we know words too.

No, they shouldn’t.

They should all jump off a cliff, that’s what democrats should do.

This Hillary thing just may be God working his will into the fabric of the portrait. It’s simply divine to watch trolls like this fall apart.

I think John Kass (not Cass) is alluding to how the elites perceive Trump.

LOL. I don’t want to think about Hillary’s crotch but that’s what this comes to.

Personally I would love to see a woman president at some point. But don’t want to elect someone just because of her biological sex. And that’s all Hillary’s got.

I doubt she’ll step aside. This is the thing she’s chased after her entire life.

I'll see your comment and raise you this; after she loses the 2016 election, Hillary will be the first democrat to start running for the 2020 nomination.

What could happen is the FBI sends another letter to Congress that after review they believe they have found nothing significant to change their prior summary given in testimony. So they white wash twice, and make themselves look like they’re being extra thorough.

Democrats never admit wrong; never step down; never resign.
They have to be removed.

Chicago Tribune under Robert McCormick was staunchly conservative- he was, perhaps, the most outspoken public opponent of FDR’s New Deal.

Sam Zell bought the Tribune in 2007. They endorsed Bush in 2004, but endorsed Obama in ‘08 and ‘12.

“Didn’t the Chicago Tribune endorse Hillary?”

Why yes, yes they did. And let me tell you, I was in Chicago a few weeks back while my beautiful, and oh-so-liberal wife, ran the Chicago marathon, and the Clinton/Kaine yard signs were EVERYWHERE.

Coming from Ohio, I was unaccustomed to seeing them, but for infrequent instances.

That said, Ohio has early voting and my wife has already cast her Clinton vote, (I cancelled her out), but she is absolutely dejected about that vote today.

I almost feel sorry for her, (my wife that is), ALMOST!!

Far too late for that.

That ship sailed long ago.

One would hope that the American people would now wake up and either stay home in disgust on Election Day or vote for Trump as the only way to drain the swamp in Washington. However Hillary will never step down even if she risks being subpoenaed or arrested on Inauguration Day. The Democrat party is as corrupt as she is and will do nothing unless Hillary’s mess is seen as costing them too many seats in Congress. I still think Trump may pull it off, but if Hillary narrowly wins mostly by voting fraud her presidency will be immediately rocked by these scandals. She could be impeached or hounded out of office within months of taking the oath.

Impeachment of any Democrat will never happen until the Republicans get a Senate super majority, which will never happen. We could elect Caligula and if he was a Democrat we’d be stuck with him until he decided to step down.

Come on! I am quite certain the Obama administration has absolutely no interest in doing the Lord's will. The orders to restart this investigation came from this administration and there is definitely a strategy behind it.

What could it be? Is it possible to get someone else in the Democratic ticket this late in the game? Someone to slip in at the last minute and save the day?

Democrats to ask her to step down now. It would be the most responsible thing to do, if the nation were more important to them than power. And the American news media — fairly or not firmly identified in the public mind as Mrs. Clinton's political action committee — should begin demanding it.

Honchos at the New York Times and Washington Post have hitched their star to the wrong wagon... they'll go down with the corrupt Clintons ...
