I think that Barky is double-checking on his secret overseas accounts...he could be in big trouble, whether he pardons the corrupt, lying old crone or not. Do it, and she MUST spill the beans on everyone or face jail time (and she’s not going to jail for ANYONE, much less Obama); if not, she’s sing like a canary to make a deal to avoid jail time.
Barky’s probably shocked at how quickly this all fell apart for him, how quickly he’s been covered by fleas for lying down with the Arkansas dogs.
