Do you think Comey woke up this morning, kissed his wife, walked the dog, and listened to birds chirping when he suddenly had an epiphany that prompted him to re-open the HRC email case?
It makes much more sense that he was facing a revolt by his FBI agents for crushing the case.
With respect, define revolt. Bad job review? Nasty letter to HR? I haven’t heard of anyone quitting, disappearing. I wonder if, post Watergate, Quantico has offered any classes on what to do if your superiors are corrupt? I also doubt that very many agents are actally involved in any investigation. So for agents who need hard evidence before acting, that will be hard to come by.
