With respect, define revolt. Bad job review? Nasty letter to HR? I haven’t heard of anyone quitting, disappearing. I wonder if, post Watergate, Quantico has offered any classes on what to do if your superiors are corrupt? I also doubt that very many agents are actally involved in any investigation. So for agents who need hard evidence before acting, that will be hard to come by.
Joseph diGenova, the former US attorney for Washington, DC, said the way theDaily Mail
case was reopened signaled that there was significant dissent inside the FBI
over how Comey previously handled the investigation.'I believe that there is an open revolt underway inside the bureau. Not the
kind you're going to read about because that's not the way revolts happen
in the FBI,' said diGenova. 'They serve [leadership] up publicly with new
information. And what they did today was they made the FBI director look
like a fool, and he knew it.'

'I think he is sitting on a huge powder keg inside the bureau,' diGenova
added.
