Have to disagree on that - I am a realist, but this has been close for a while, and reminds me more of 1980 than 2008.

I think Comey has been embarrassed and shamed for weeks with every WikiLeak release. And his letter to Congress is vague, but he had to know that it would be explosive. Still, it's not quite specific enough to really nail her down.

Either Comey has gone rogue, or the White House knows that they may need to go to Plan B really fast.

Not sure if it's over yet for Hillary, but if the press starts asking her if she's going to step aside, that's it. She's done.

I highly doubt the President can just be replaced by the party after being elected. The 20th amendment says the V.P. elect gets sworn in if the President-elect dies or, I assume, quits.

If Obama is throwing Hillary under the bus (and many, MANY have been run over by Obama’s bus), Obama’s bus is going to blow a transaxle this time. It has nothing to do with the mass of Pig in a Pantsuit ... it has everything to do with the file she built on him back in 2008.

Oh how I would love to see her retaliate ... that could very well be the shot that ends liberalism for a while here in the USA ... both Obama and Clinton implicated in corruption charges as well as the truth being exposed about Obama’s past. I can dream, can’t I? :-)

Maybe there are some patriots in the FBI that stood up to Comey. This letter is horrible news for Clinton. A second clean bill of health a day or two before the election will be more evidence of s rigged system and will not undue the damage to Ma Clinton.

O’Reilly was hammering Comey big-time on the Factor this week based on what he saw in the WikiLeaks. There has probably been enormous pressure on Comey from the GOP Congress as well as the conservative media.

This might be seen as a lesser of two evils. Trump either goes on for 2 weeks about collusion and corruption in government that got Hillary off, or he can gloat that the investigation is reopened. The “investigation” can then be shut down again after the election. Certainly this lifts all the pressure off Comey, so if he’s just trying to protect himself and not Hillary, this is obviously the right move.

True, we don’t know if lower ranks in the FBI were threatening to get whistleblower status and leak to Congress unless Comey reopened it.

The problem for HRC and the DOJ is that the evidence is out there. It’s not like they can cover it up. They are only reacting because it’s become obvious to anyone who just glances at the info that HRC has committed, at the least, errors and malfeasances that would disqualify her.
