Agree with you all. Comey and his second in command know they will not survive the first day of the Trump presidency. CYA big time. And the only thing that would push them to do this is that the real poll figures have started to leak to the insiders.

The very fact that the FBI has made this statement at this time is a big problem for Hillary. Trump can now ask how anyone could vote for someone who is under criminal investigation? This may have something to do with Clinton/McCallif money to the wife of an FBI investigator.
