I never thought the TV series had the ‘spirit’ of the original; but husband liked it and watched it for awhile.

While I was posting, he also mentioned the song ‘Who Wants to Live Forever?” - but that seems sad to me, and I don’t like it much.

Oh my goodness, yes, Who Wants to Live Forever is (for Highlander fans) "THE" song.

As for the TV series, Kansas's Dust in the Wind is a classic. Here is a link with video.
