Christine: They can dispose of them. Look; these officials can easily check to see if the ballot is from a Republican or Democrat; they check the voter registrations. All of the staff has said there are ways to ditch them; it’s pretty common knowledge at the S.O.E.

In 1996, I saw a Dem election judge walk a paper ballot out to a woman in a car. He said she could not get in to vote in person. If she got into the car, she could have gotten into the polling place. I saw so much cheating, like workers showing people where to mark the ballot.
Why would such a system be used if the person has sold out. "Assistance" is too laborious and obvious; why not just tell them beforehand to go for straight D?

The rigged-vote stuff is beginning to bite - wife reports that she even saw on Philly channel 6 (ABC) a while ago that they’ve assigned one of their “investigative” reporters (Wendy Saltzman) to look at rigged-voting in the city - reporter’s already talking about finding dead people registered to vote and promises more to follow - channel 6 has been so in the tank for Clinton this year that I won’t even watch them any more - but between stuff like this and the NYT story this morning about the Clinton Foundation it does sound as though the MSM is starting to cave on burying the bad Clinton news at least a bit....
I wonder if one possible solution is for a state to contract out vote counting and tabulation to an accounting firm, must like the Academy does for Oscar voting. At the least contract out to a firm to supervise and manage the public employees.
A private accounting firm has clients, a reputation, and as a matter of practice regularly signs legal documents and puts their name on the line.
A firm who were derelict or incompetent would risk their private reputation along with potentially jail time for their staff.

I am not optimistic. The stakes are too big this time. The Left will win this one at all costs. I only hope that Trump turns out to be an effective opposition leader who is ready for real opposition. I hope the rest of us are ready for that, too.
