If this is true, it has the same flavor as husband Bill meeting with AG Loretta Lynch while Hillary’s “investigation” was still under way. No matter how it is framed, the mere appearance of it is odious and leading to a blatant appearance of corruption!
It's worse. Bill could (non-convincingly of course) aver that it wasn't about his wife's corruption. But the candidate herself, meeting privately with a top election official? Is that even legal? Wouldn't any meeting have to include reps of all candidates? Wouldn't there have to be a recording and a third-party transcript of it?
