RUSH: I have never in my life, and I really have struggled to remember, I wasn't old enough in 1964 to be aware of such things. I knew who Goldwater was. I even went to a Goldwater whistle-stop. My dad put us in the car, took us over to Southern Illinois where Goldwater was going through. I knew it was a landslide. I didn't know why. I didn't know anything about the conservative movement, knew nothing of any of that. But that aside, I have never in the rest of my life from 1964 forward, I don't think I have ever seen anything like we are witnessing today where our side has already conceded defeat.
Our side has given up. Our side has concluded that we are going to lose and in a massive landslide, and they are already making plans for recriminations after the election. A bunch of people you never heard of are preparing to sort out the blame and responsibility for those who made this all possible. And I'll give you three guesses who they are zeroing in on. That's right, my friends, your beloved host is to blame for all of this. Your beloved host is to blame for the other conservative hosts doing what they're doing.
I'm to blame for Trump being a candidate. I am to blame for it all, and they're all lining up getting prepared to exonerate themselves, of course. I'm talking about Republicans; I'm talking about conservatives, people that are quasi-conservatives. Think tank people you've never heard of are lining up now, already conceding that it's over, conceding that it's a landslide. They are conceding we've lost the House. They're conceding they've lost the Senate.
It's almost like they want that to happen. I've never seen anything like this before. But we're in the midst of it, and for all that that is worth and while that's all going on, there's a whole lot of people that have not given up, mainly you. There are a whole lot of people not willing to concede any of this yet because there's too much that doesn't make any sense, as we will explore in great detail on the program today.
The WikiLeaks document dump has produced an email from Podesta with go-to instructions on how to create polls that show an overwhelming Democrat majority for the express purpose of dispiriting and depressing Republican opposition.
Now, just to be clear, I have no idea what's going on. I have no idea who's gonna win. I don't have the slightest bit of inside information, and I don't feel confident giving you a straight up and down opinion on this. There's too much we don't know. There are too many things that we have learned that make me question all kinds of conventional wisdom. But I'll be the first to tell you I haven't the slightest idea what's gonna happen.
I'm like you, I watch everything that's going on. Some of it makes sense and some of it doesn't. And, like you, I have questions about things that you question. The fact that so many others do not have any doubt whatsoever, don't have any questions whatsoever, it's over, Trump is gonna lose in a landslide like which we have never seen, maybe Goldwater proportions, and we've got evidence here that that may not be the case and that evidence is being ignored and discounted by some, and it's being desperately clinged to by others. If you look at the behavior of the candidates, it doesn't make any sense.
Trump's out there everywhere he can go drawing massive crowds. Hillary's hibernating. Kaine and Obama and a bunch of others are sitting in for Hillary. She's nowhere to be seen. The others, her surrogates, are out there and even her surrogates are not drawing crowds. There's not a whole lot of excitement.
And Obama, when he shows up to do a campaign he can't stop talking about conservative media. He can't stop talking about it. Here's a guy who has mastered and succeeded with practically every agenda item that he had to one degree or another, and he's not even happy. He's still bent out of shape that I'm here. He's still bent out of shape that there's a Fox News. He's still bent out of shape that there's a conservative media.

This is a pretty convoluted piece by the usually reliable Rush. He’s using some sort of reverse psychology maybe but I don’t think this helps much.
Limbaugh is really out of touch or faking shock.
Of course “our side” has given up. The GOP Establishment know they are better off with Hillary and we have known this for more than a year now at least.

I never really thought that much of Trump until all the Rs and Ds and MSMs lined up to destroy him. Now I see him as a good man up against impossible odds. Well, guess what? God makes the impossible seem like child’s play.
Secular Americans in a way kinda deserve Hillary. They’ve validated their tickets to this basket of evil so to speak.
The rest of us don’t deserve her at all.

No, I do not trust the left created polls. I am surprised by those I had trusted in the past, but the number of Republicans who are sabotaging the entire election does have me confused. Maybe disappointed is a better choice of word.
When did they get so corrupt that they can not listen to the voting public input, during the primary? Do they have that much to lose personally? Yes, I guess so.
I can sometimes gain balance from listening to Rush, but not today. It was not helpful, and almost sophomoric. Not his usual presentation. I can forgive him this time since it is surely a very different election.
I still meet people daily who look at my bumper sticker or shirt and give me a “nervous” thumbs up or “whisper” “Can he really win, I hope so”. The crowds are only one part of his support!

Maybe the daily formula is to much - it gets away form them - maybe a weekly show would work better- give them a bit of think and analyze time?

I agree with Rush that what the polls say and what the pundits say is totally counterintuitive to what we all see. We know the issues, we know the candidates, we all have a story to tell. What I hear anecdotally from my own wide circle and see locally tells me this is a change election. I’m sure all you folks see and here the same. One issue that I know is really a problem for women is Obamacare. My wife and all her women friends are appalled at what a disaster it is and where it’s heading.
That issue alone raises doubt in my mind that Cankles has such a huge lead on Trump with women. Something’s up, and the fact that Rush can’t explain it actually makes me a bit more confident that we will get to the core of how deep the establishment media and the democrat party have cooked this fraud. As Rush also pointed out, Trump’s message of the election being rigged is resonating in the polls that are asking, namely the reliable ones like IBD who tell us it’s a tie. I think it’s a tie and I am urging everyone I know to ignore the media and just vote!
Yes me too. I've thought long and hard about that. But they'd very quickly destroy their own country and be coming to try and take everything we own.

Trust your gut instinct, not your mind. if that fails and it surely will. Trust God and see everything for yourself, be not the one who must take what others give as truth.

The dems and the MSM, assisted by the RINO Establishment, are trying to get the fix in long before it is.
They figure they will simply announce the victor,,,and then when Trump overwhelms them with numbers, it will be they who point to Russia and say that Russia rigged the election and therefore it cannot be legitimate.
They are trying to get this fix in now so they can run with it if and when Trump’s numbers (which he is drawing to every on of his rallies) show up at the polls and eclispe the dems.
There would be one problem if the libs would try to come in.

My seventh birthday fell about two weeks after the 1964 election. I remember two things. First the LJB atomic bomb TV ad, and picking up the LA TImes outside the house the day after with the landslide headline across the top.
I’ll be honest, I don’t have a feel for this. I dream of a tidal wave cleansing. If its a close election, the MSM will have done their job and I can only hope there will be a price to be paid. Heck I wouldn’t mind a watering of the tree of liberty.
No. But I do remember the commercials with the little girl and mushroom cloud.
