Its what most voters fear when they go in to fill out their ballots.
Early voting for the 2016 election started today (Monday, October 24th). The people of Potter and Randall County are taking this opportunity to skip the long lines that always file out of the voting locations on Election Day. Its common to see pictures of the I Voted! stickers on social media. Its not as common to see the stories Ive been seeing today. Two voters from Canyon posted the experience they had while voting. Apparently, when these voters chose the straight Republican option, the ballot selected Clinton/Kaine instead of Trump/Pence.

If my ballot was changed that way, I would request that the machine be taken offline.
We need to call the police if our machine changed a vote— DO NOT LEAVE THAT MACHINE UNTIL THE DRAG YOU OFF!!
It’s always a good idea to triple check your ballot selections. There is no time limit in the booth. Take your time and check to make sure.
The people in the article who has the issue voted the Straight down ticket. I am not going to use that one. I just want to use a paper ballot.
There is a 10 year jail term for voter fraud, I believe. Put the fear of jail in the lot of them.
I would NEVER note straight ticket. Some of these bastards are RINOS!!!!
Hear, hear.
I think the GOPe have their lacey panties in a twist.
Wonder what happens if you vote straight communist?
Your EBT card is auto-refilled?
Just a guess ;-)
Find who is doing this and execute them.
Shouldn’t be a problem for me. I vote REP for the top of the ticket and, wherever possible, vote libertarian down ticket. We used paper ballots, though.
Although we mostly hear of pro-Democrat voting machines, some are occasionally pro-Republican. Those might be actual glitches as opposed to rigged machines.
Up until 2012 I was an election judge in Bosque county Texas. Can’t say what may have changed since then, but at that time you could legally choose to use a paper ballot. The election judge has a number to call for faulty machines. Notify them. Do NOT leave the polling place until the vote is fixed.
Online at the Texas State official voting information sites there should be numbers to call to report vote fraud. Everyone and their 8 year olds have smart phones, if you don’t, borrow someone else’s in the polling place, look those numbers up and call! Just don’t leave the polling place till your vote is right. If you leave, you’re done and everyone in line behind you will also be defrauded by that machine.
Are you saying Amarillo (population 200,000) is a hick town?

The people who report this happening need to call and report at numbers on this page.
I would also notify the local Ranger office.
Spill a hot coffee, by accident of course, into the machine.
