The cause of death has not been released. However, in the original post from wife Susan, the statement indicated he passed away from “a short illness.” The line about the “short illness” was removed and no further word has been given on his exact cause of death. However, postings indicate he may have been ill in the days leading up to his death.

I seem to remember a comment a few days ago that he was ill...if he was smart enough to start up WikiLeaks ...then all the files, code words and operating procedures would have long ago been passed on to trusted associates.

Disappointed in Allen West to use this headline as click bait especially when people have been asking for proof of life of Assange.
Btw Hot spots are being set up by supporters around the embassy to give Julian wireless access since he can no longer use the embassy’s internet connection. I expect today we will see some kind of proof come out that he is alive and well.

I despise conspiracy theories in general, but admit conspiracies do exist and effective ones are plausibly deniable.
