In the final sprint of the general election season, Donald Trumps presidential campaign is acknowledging that its playing catch-up to Hillary Clinton, just as a new national poll shows the Republican nominee trailing his opponent by double digits.
When asked on NBC News how she saw the state of the race, Kellyanne Conway, Trumps campaign manager, replied that We are behind.
She has some advantages, like $66 million in ad buys just in the month of September, thereby doubling her ad buys from August, Conway pointed out. Now, most of those ads are negative against Donald Trump, classic politics, personal destruction...kind of ads. And that she has tremendous advantages.

Or to many Debbie Downers on FR.
It’s overrated. Though I’ve seen and heard quite a few ads in FL.
On election day, I'm going out to vote for Donald Trump. Whether the polls are right or wrong, I don't care.
CBS, Constant Bull Shit.
Real winners play like they are losing until the final seconds tick off the clock...
So much more critcal in real life for the Presidency than it ever was in games!

Not to mention more dimwits don’t bother to vote because its in the bag.
Perfect !
The fact that two of the three debates broke all-time records for viewership points to the degree of interest.
#1: 84 million
#2: 64 million
#3: 72 million
I don’t know “how”, but she did, if the transcript is accurate.
However ! I'd be curious to hear from any FReepers who had the stomach to tune in CBS what the precise context was in which she purportedly made the We are behind comment that was quoted.
Many's the time the enemedia bastards have taken an innocuous phrase entirely out of context and twisted it to their own seditous ends.
I loathe them all, and urge the few innocent ones to get the hell out .. there'd be more honor in flipping burgers.
Accuracy over wishful thinking.
I watched the interview. Conway does not state or even imply what you are saying she did.
She answers Todd’s question about the state of the race and says: “We are behind” ...further in her conversation/answer to that specific question she then changes the topic to the swing states.
She is not agreeing with the new poll showing Clinton with a 12 point lead...she is simply saying, flatly, that “We are behind” obviously meaning exactly what she said.
Her answer is part of a strategy to make sure the Trump voters turn out.
Kellyanne Conway Should be fired!
It’s a ridiculous assertion and I doubt she said that exactly
Trump is even in many
He’s ahead in four respected polls with a history of accuracy
He’s only really behind in major tv and print media polls
Some of which use huge dem over sampling and are anything but impartial
Not to mention how early voting ballot requests are
You can watch her statement in context for yourself from today’s Meet The Press:

Context is everything, and the msm skews and distorts by leaving key info off.
No one except Free Republic is confident of a Trump win. This is the same
Echo Chamber it was in 2012. It doesn’t actually help. Everyone on this site is probably voting for Trump. There is no need for either cheerleading to excite us (as we will all crawl over broken glass to vote him in and Hillary out) or to show some kind of confidence to the rest of the world.
How could any human go up against all media with every tried
And true alinsky method available? How can we beat a criminal enterprise that owns our justice system and federal police? They simply will not
Let us win, period. What do we have? An old parchment under glass in a museum?
Any actual ideas with such little time left that would allow Trump to win?
Manafort was only brought in to manage the convention but he NEVER would have made a mistake like this.
Because Trump does not waste $$$. The campaign announced today or yesterday there will be a YUGE ad buy starting Monday.
Vote Trump 2016
