Tim Kaine is sounding a hopeful note that a Democratic White House could work with Republicans to bridge deep divides laid bare by this bitter presidential campaign.

The vice presidential candidate told The Associated Press on Saturday that he and Hillary Clinton have already spoken about how to heal the nation if they should win. He said tackling economic anxieties, finding common policy ground with the GOP and perhaps bringing Republicans into the administration would be elements of unity, though he added that he and Clinton did not discuss Cabinet positions.

“We have not run this campaign as a campaign against the GOP with the big broad brush — we’ve run it against Donald Trump,” Kaine said. He predicted: “We’re going to get a lot of Republican votes and that will also be part of, right out of the gate, the way to bring folks back together.” …

This article is pure, unadulterated, horse hockey. They are both Marxist ideologues and Alinsky radicals.

Hands across the aisle, in other words - business as-usual for the GOP.

It’s never too hard for the Dems to work with the Pubbies in Congress. They are soft and, oh so malleable.

The GOP - the Play-doh party.

“Clinton will try to work with GOP...”

...in front of the many congressional committees, hopefully.

Wikileaks it’s getting near that time. We’d like to see the goods on Kaine soon. I suspect it’s one thing that will be pretty damning and reveal his true nature. Hope it’s good stuff.

> Of course she will. She loves rich greedy politicians no matter which party they belong to. They can all be bought. It’s those damn Americans she has a problem with. Unlike Barry and the “democrats’” new “americans” who CAN be bought. A freebie and handout will get their vote every time. It’s just those irredeemable, deplorable Americans who just won’t fall for the “demonrats’” freebie BS.

It's because us deplorables have to actually work and pay taxes for them to get their "free" handouts.

From his pics, it ure looks lie Kaine knows his way around a liquor bottle. I could be wrong but he has “the look” of a well seasoned drinker to me.

-- Wishful thinking. Team Hag won't get the chance. --

His remark does, though, confirm that the GOP and DEM parties are the inside club, and Trump is the outsider. The DEMs aren't running against the GOP platform, they (and the GOP) are running to defeat one person, Donald Trump.

“Kaine says Clinton will try to work with GOP”

Is Kaine expecting a GOP branch office in Leavenworth?

I have no doubt that John McCain and Lindsay Graham would “work with” Clinton.

Indeed. Those republicans also have no problem being in the minority and would probably prefer that. The payoff for them is about the same either way. She OTOH would prefer a scant Republican majority in the house so she can assign blame for the bad economy as long as she can strong arm amnesty and gun control by them.
