If Al Franken can be Senator of Minnesota, than Joe Piscopo can be Governor of New Jersey.

Except Franken stole his election.

Always thought Piscopo was a decent guy. Funny too.

I have trouble taking this seriously. Random minor celebrities as a candidates.

Like CF said...Al Franken.
He couldn’t be much worse than the last few RAT governors of NJ, could he?

Joe is doing a pretty good Jerry Lewis there.

Fat boy is their best Governor in ages, that says it all.
But seeing him winning is what I’m having trouble with. That Franken, who had no meaningful opposition for the rat nomination, “won” a fraudulent victory in a rat state, in a rat year, does little to convince me.

A long time ago, two friends and I used very advanced shenanigans to sneak into a fundraiser for Senator Bill Bradley, hosted by Joe Piscopo.
Paul Simon was playing, first public appearance for his new "Rhythm of the Saints" band, post Graceland. Had to put up with a lot of bad speechifying and an unimaginably unfunny "fat DJ" bit from Piscopo, but Paul Simon and the band were incredible.
Luckily, we snuck in a good deal of beer too, and talked through the speeches.
