FULL TITLE:'I have nothing to say': Lady Gaga leaves viewers cringing as she refuses to talk with Charlie Stayt in painfully awkward interview
She's famed for her carefree and spirited attitude. But viewers were shocked to see Lady Gaga looking less animated than usual as she reluctantly answered questions about politics on Friday's episode of BBC Breakfast. Chatting to Charlie Stayt, the 30-year-old songstress left the audience cringing when she announced she had 'nothing to say' in an interview littered with excruciating silences.
Pressing further, the BBC presenter questioned: 'He claims he represents people who have been unrepresented, who haven’t had a voice?'
Following an icy silence, Gaga sighed: 'I think, what is most important is for us to try and decipher what is real and what is not. And what is honest and what is dishonest. And be accepting of those things and not operating from fear.'

She’s a great actress and singer though. She was excellent in American Horror Story 5. And she sings great with Bennett and did a great national anthem.

Seriously! Actors have one achilles heel. Over time all they know is memorizing and mimicking and they stop thinking for themselves.

I have nothing at all bad to say about Gaga’s musical talents, which are many. That she chose to remain silent goes to the age old adage ‘If you have nothing good to say...”
So I see this as actually sensible from one of the usually shrill, know nothing Hollywood class. Good for her.
I used to think the same way. And then I heard the woman sing an actual song (not the electronic noise that passes for the same these days). She’s got real talent. And if she surprised the BBC by not vomiting the party line about Trump then she may have brains and spine as well. At least she kept her opinion to herself. I’ll take that.
I don’t anything about her except she blends well with Tony Bennett. Other than that, if she’s taking Laura Ingraham’s advice to “shut up and sing”, I’m happy enough. She’s doing the right thing, unlike that disgusting ad of Famous Actors.
It’s not that actors and singers do not have talent. But their business is all about memorizing and mimicking. For that they have talent. When they do not have a script, they are lost and don’t know what to say or say very stupid things.
She does have talent. I know very little about her, though.

Any celebrity that doesn’t come out for $hillary is probably for Trump.
There’s absolutely no harm to a celebrity for simply quietly saying that they support $hillary. No follow-ups, just “I’ll vote for $hillary.” But she didn’t.
She has at least some doubts about her, and doesn’t want to alienate fans on either side of the aisle. There is nothing wrong with her response.
Sounds to me like the interviewer wanted to turn the interview into a political endorsement for whomever and she wouldn't have anything to do with it............For that I respect her.
She is a tremendous talent and obviously smart enough to remain outside the political arena.........
I would not say she’s a great actress, and probably not a great singer either. She’s a passable actress, and I would probably say a very good singer, and obviously musically she is generally very talented.
On the other hand, American Horror Story Hotel SUCKED, both literally and figuratively. Each episode was a repeat of the one before it, with an over-the-top and totally gory scene of some human or another being ripped the shreds by a vampire. Boring boring boring!
She generally tries to out-gross Madonna - we all know where that would lead in this election . . .
