I'm 100% behind Trump, but I have no illusions about what he brings to the table.
I have no illusions about Trump.
But if Hillary gets in, we’ll never have another Republican President.
For me, that fact alone more than makes up for all his shortcomings.
I got my ballot today too. In my area there were lots of Supreme Court judges and appellate court judges. I don’t know them from a hole in the ground so I went online and looked to see who appointed them, and a little about each one. Then made my selections. Our local election was sad. Absolutely nobody running except for republicans. We have the choice of the only candidate running, or a write in. All were incumbents, so talk about insuring the good ole boys club!
He wasn’t my pick in the primary, but what I don’t understand about the #nevertrumpers is how they expect their guys, say, Cruz or Ryan, to get support from the Trumpsters in 4 or 8 years if either of them are the nominee. They are just setting up a neverending cycle of revenge protest votes between themselves and the Trump wing of the party. We are already a presidential election-challenged party. We do not have any votes we can afford to take for granted. This is the time to tell the Trumpsters we’ll back your guy because he won the primary fair and square and we’ll expect you to back our guy if he wins fair and square in 2020 or 2024.
