Things are not looking good in the early voting in North Carolina. For whatever reason, Republican absentee ballot requests and returns are down significantly from 2012. Also, yesterday was the first day of in-person early voting, and the Democrats were well ahead of Republicans, 85K to 39K.
Can anyone explain what is going on in North Carolina? I know many Democrats there are old-time conservative Democrats, but I would like to see the numbers for Republicans go up.
I think it’s because Democrats are not a work so they have plenty of time to go to the polls in the middle of the day.

we have absentee ballot vote harvesting in full force in Miami and Broward and Palm Beach where the old people live like zombies.

My parents are lifelong democrats and they have already voted for Trump.
The cities are heavily liberal, once you hit the suburbs it's conservative. It's the typical voter split we have in this country... the cities have high population concentration and are on balance more susceptible to liberal influence. I think it will be close in NC.
There’s a reason campaigns that are smart focus resources on the ground game. You can’t run a campaign solely on social media and TV interviews. Down here in Boca my son registered for the first time and the local Trump presence walked out the absentee ballot to him at his place. Ignoring the nuts and bolts is like not having a punter or kicker on your 53-man roster.
One thought I had was that maybe the Dems are banking a lot of their partisans really early on. We will have to see what happens in the next two weeks of early voting to figure out if the pace continues.

Charlotte, etc, are mainly inhabited by transplants from up north and the middle west.
Regardless, Trump SHOULD carry NC. If he does not, he is in serious trouble. NC is not like Virginia.
I think we need to wait before panicking or conducting post mortems. Its just starting.
Absentee voting at its core was custom made and created for Democratic voter fraud. I expect a good 10 to 15 million fraudulent ballots in this election, many will be illegals with drivers licences, others totally fictitious ballots. Sadly, we cannot overcome that many, and even when proven she won by fraud, she will be the President. Who may I ask is going to depose her, the FBI?
