Warning darkly of a stolen election, Donald J. Trump has called on supporters to turn out in droves on Election Day to monitor polling places, telling them they need to be vigilant against widespread voter fraud and a rigged outcome.
Voter fraud is all too common, and then they criticize us for saying that, he said at a rally Tuesday in Colorado Springs. But take a look at Philadelphia, whats been going on, take a look at Chicago, take a look at St. Louis. Take a look at some of these cities, where you see things happening that are horrendous.
His language has stirred increasing fears of intimidation of minorities inside polling places, where their qualifications to vote could be challenged, or outside, where they would face illegal electioneering.

Intimidation is good.
Damn monitoring might make the dead people afraid to vote.
The GOP needs to install cameras outside polling places, and use facial recognition software at all polling places to show each time a person shows up. It shouldn’t be hard, the most difficult part is talking the Pubes into standing for something.
Democrats want the American people disarmed so they can kill them.
The code word is: “dark”.
I’m guessing that you are a Hillary troll. First you post a New York Times article. Then you advocate that Trump supporters should engage in voter intimidation which is a federal crime that carries a prison sentence. Nice try, troll.

Poll watchers have been around a long time. This is the NYT trying to gin up an issue where there isn’t one.
It’s all part of Clinton’s “Trump is a bully” meme. Clinton trained and paid people to cause violence at Trump rallies & then Clinton criticized Trump for creating “an environment” - an environment which SHE PAID FOR.
Recall that NY Times executive editor Dean Baquet said he would risk going to jail to get Clinton elected. I sure he has no problem printing lies.
If you’re going to suggest to the voting public that the election, can turn on fraud, it does no good to do it after the election. Advice regarding what can be done to overcome voter fraud seems a wise precaution.
Oh, that's right. THEY DIDN'T!
The Nazi loving rag and its pathetic propaganda.
Funny. THe NY Tmes didn’t consider it intimidation when armed black panthers were standing outside polling places in Pennsylvania.
Classic Liberal Media spin: monitoring polling stations to prevent voting fraud is a form intimidation of minority voters.
The thought of fair elections intimidates liberals.
Looks racist to me.
I think you’re misinterpreting, Helo.
OP is saying “Good, let the lawbreakers feel intimidated.”
NYT is saying the usual “raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacism”
Yup.
