Donald Trump’s Call to Monitor Polls Raises Fears of Intimidation

Warning darkly of a stolen election, Donald J. Trump has called on supporters to turn out in droves on Election Day to monitor polling places, telling them they need to be vigilant against widespread voter fraud and a rigged outcome.

“Voter fraud is all too common, and then they criticize us for saying that,” he said at a rally Tuesday in Colorado Springs. “But take a look at Philadelphia, what’s been going on, take a look at Chicago, take a look at St. Louis. Take a look at some of these cities, where you see things happening that are horrendous.”

His language has stirred increasing fears of intimidation of minorities inside polling places, where their qualifications to vote could be challenged, or outside, where they would face illegal electioneering.

Those making the charge of Trump intimidation are Clinton operatives who will use every tactic to deflect their true intentions: voter fraud.

At least may the GOP poll workers be able to ensure that the voting machines are set at zero when the doors open to the public.

Another rat trick from 2012.

The only fear raised is their fear of being watched and caught.

The fraud will be in those precincts where pollwatchers fear to go which have high registrations and low turnout.
All those riots this summer and the raised tensions and fear probably served to scare potential volunteers off. When no Republicans can be found to be election judges then people are appointed to it ... a one-party polling station.

Amusing.....The U.S. sends people to countries around the world to “observe” their elections. But “We, the People” cannot watch our own??

The NYT, of course, wants to insure that ineligible voters are able to cast a democrat party ballot.

Is there any law against filming a polling place from a distance?

It would be interesting to compare the films as it relates to buses arriving.

The swing states need to be watched like hawks... They will be the DNC targets.

Are we sure that the Military absentee ballots will count this time?

Related thread. Apparently, the ACLU is sending out their folks to make sure the Trump folks don’t “intimidate” anyone.
