Hillary Clinton has pulled within 3 percentage points of Donald Trump in the traditionally Republican stronghold of Texas, according to a poll released Tuesday from the University of Houston.
In a four-way poll of registered voters, Trump garnered a weighted 41 percent support and Clinton drew 38 percent with a 3 point margin of error. Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson had 4 percent support and Green Party nominee Jill Stein saw 1 percent.
Other recent Texas surveys have shown Clinton pulling closer to Trump: A recent SurveyMonkey poll even showed a two-point race in the state.

Thanks for the link. This number seemed to not match the rest.
Among Men: Trump 44%, Clinton 35% (T +9)
Among Women: Trump 38%, Clinton 42% (C +4)
So, in order to come up with a three-point margin, the pollsters must have found a lot more women to poll than men.
They do not break down the sample into % Dem, % GOP and % Ind but I’ll bet that number would reveal how skewed it is.
Those are Texas towns. Near Houston to near Texarkana.
I am willing to give 10 to 1 odds on anyone willing to place a bet with me that Hillary will win. Your minimum bet is 1000, if Hillary wins you get 10,000 from me. If Trump wins, I get 1000 from you.

My bet is in reference to Texas. Nationally I think it is a 50/50 race and voter turnout is the key to winning. The Trump supporters are stoked and motivated to vote.
John needs to add a Thumbs Up option for replies.
BTW....Thumbs Up!
