Must be terrifying for the dems. They have lost control of the narrative.

Oh, good grief.
Assange is just the public face of Wikileaks.
All the heavy lifting is done behind the scenes by anonymous volunteers.
And, I can think of at least three different ways that Assange could continue to communicate, even if the Ecuadorean embassy cut him off.

Assange would be a fool (and he’s not) if he hadn’t given duplicates to trusting compatriots.

Obviously he is smarter than democrats.

I suspect Assange has little to do with the day to day operations of WikiLeaks. He created it, but he’s just the face of it these days. WikiLeaks has a team of people working on it.
You just pissed them off.

Reign of terror?? There you have it. Fox News now considers the truth terror. Glad we're seeing it all hang out now.

He had the files/folders stored/backed up to several remote servers, all encrypted with 64 bit keys.
Location of same was somehow shared with other wiki/anon contacts, sans the keys, until now.
When he triggered his dead man's switch, the keys were released to those contacts, possibly with some kind of date/time constraint built in.
Contacts would only be able to decrypt the ones corresponding to the pre-set date/time constraint.

The Deep web alone ensures that they will always have backups of the backups of the backups.
Give the files to a few guys in remote locations and they can put them uot on the torrents at a moments notice.
