Oh, good grief.

Assange is just the public face of Wikileaks.

All the heavy lifting is done behind the scenes by anonymous volunteers.

And, I can think of at least three different ways that Assange could continue to communicate, even if the Ecuadorean embassy cut him off.

The cutting of Assange’s internet was reported in a way to startle, as a very big deal, causing an easy inference that further leaks might be in jeopardy.

Certainly now we learn that of course Assange had a contingency plan, given the risks to his work for years.

Still, you don’t know what a day can bring in the web. Wiki is not immune.
