NEW - Wikileaks Appears To Have Released Its First "Insurance" File
Zero Hedge ^ | Oct 18, 2016 | Tyler Durden

Posted on 10/18/2016 10:06:08 AM PDT by Sleeping Freeper

While it is unclear if it was done on purpose or by mistake, moments ago a folder within what appears to be the Wikileaks server has opened at the address https://file.wikileaks.org/file/ which provides a glimpse into thousands of doc, pdf, wav, jpg and various other files, as well as dozens of subdirectories including Videos, Syria-files, Collateral Murder, Japan Bribery Affair, and many others.

It is unclear what the basis of this disclosure is, although some are speculating that it may be the release of one of Wikileaks' so-called insurance files, which in light of today's speculation about the fate of Assange, may indicate that things are about to get to a climax vis-a-visthe trove of information in Wikileaks' possession.

some of this stuff didn’t come from Hillary I don’t think.

This is way more than the Pedestal files...and we still have more of those too.

This is looking like a WikiLeaks directory. Some of this stuff I’ve seen before.

I didn’t know George Orwell had such a short life.

Be careful there are secret docs in there minimum that I saw and unauthorized possession of same is still a felony.

All the more reason for *everyone* to download and distribute them. After all, The GOPe, the Dims and the Presstitutes have been lecturing us for years that you can't possibly round up millions of law-breakers.

F-'em all...

I believe I recall reading somewhere that that is exactly what he set up.

I went through a bunch of it. Looks like random files from various people’s computers. I saw nothing about space aliens or who killed JFK ... and little if any on HRC.

I heard or read somewhere that when they cut his internet line it triggered a first failsafe release. Wouldn’t it be karma if the Dems cut off Assange and forced this mass release???

I see this as a warning shot.
As in -

‘To whom it may concern,
You know exactly where these files came from. You know what else was there. We have all of it. The next move is yours. Choose wisely.’

Maybe his porn stash got mixed into the archives by mistake.

There are so many people after Assange, that if he were a hunter, he couldn’t kill them all.

Good explanation and crazy clever strategy on his part.

The implication is if he doesn’t get his internet access back, more and more newer folders will be released. Apparently he’s got to log in and reset the release date every day to keep the files from going public. Once they cut him off, he can’t do that, and they will gradually be released as the expiration dates hit.

Does any of this stuff matter any more? The elites are now above the law and the media won’t cover real corruption.

I should add too that the insurance files are already out there, in the form of encrypted archives. If the files I’m thinking of are indeed the insurance files, the first one worked out to about 3GB. The second is over 40GB, and the third is over 300GB. I don’t know if any of that amount is in the form of compressed (zip file) data, so the total amount may be more.

In any case, this first dump isn’t all that big, and already shows promise for being damaging to a whole lot of people. Just imagine what those two remaining archives contain, especially since they’re going to be even worse. The final one may contain large audio files, and maybe video files, given the size.

I think a lot of people are going to regret letting Jon Carry pressure the embassy into turning of Assange’s internet connection.
