caught up with the thread last night. I finally got to sleep at 11 yesterday morning and slept til 7 so missed both rallies. appreciate as always all the great commentary and news tidbits.

I had a couple hours before work so decided to take advantage of bargain day at Cinemark. Saw Deepwater Horizon. Highly recommend it. Other recent good ones - Girl on a Train and The Accountant.

Still haven’t decided where I will watch the debate. Could watch at hotel, at a friends place but it is fun to go at the GOP clubs. Right now the websites aren’t listing anything.. Not the end of the world to not be with the group, but would be nice.

Good question, and I don't know. I'll find a quiet place. Even that might not be conducive to making remarks, as slow as FR has been lately. I'm sure the site is getting hammered with traffic.

I concur, with one caveat....Trump’s nominations for SCOTUS. OTOH, he can’t count on those GOPEers, in the Senate, to help him in ANY way, so perhaps it hardly matters if we do lose the Senate. Hey.. it might even be a good thing!

Yep he is not going to get a lot of help for the current crop of GOPers in the Senate, so that's why I'm not concerned. He could just keep appointing Conservative SCOTUS for the next 4 years and letting the Dem's block them.

By 2020 we retake the Senate with a solid bunch in charge and continue to MAGA.

Sorry to here this AM that Rubio is out criticizing Trump for talking up WL’s. I had almost decided I would vote for him in FL, but now not so sure. Just can't accept that we might have 2 Rat Senators from Florida.
