Do away with early voting, mail-in voting, provisional voting...All voting to be done on election day with the only exception being members of the military stationed overseas...
Vote on election day...PERIOD...With photo ID...
If you can’t make it to the polls, tough sh*t...
I’d only allow for the obviously, provably infirm in nursing homes and hospital be allowed mail-in ballots. Anyone on their feet? Get to the poll.
And make it a mandatory holiday so no one can claim that they were “disenfranchised” due to work.
Couldn't agree more.

I agree, though I live outside the US. I took advantage of the present system to vote by email in Arizona. I trust Arizona’s system for the present, though I have no way of knowing if my vote was counted, but then neither does anyone else.
Regardless of the ubiquitous comments about “Banana Republics”, I really wish the US had a system like Honduras. No one is registered to a particular party, no one votes without their national ID, all citizens over 18 can vote but only at their precinct of record, no debates, no primaries in the US sense. Honduras has eight recognized parties, and candidates battle it out in the media and stumping around the country until election day. There are no absentee ballots or mail-ins. The candidate with the most votes nationwide wins. You either get to your precinct to vote ON ELECTION DAY, or tough sh*t.
