For what its worth: My husband and I were on a 2 week European cruise just prior to and during the Brexit vote. Obviously we met many Brits, Irish and Scots. We asked them their opinion of Brexit and to a person, before they left for the cruise, voted to Leave but felt that the Stay vote would win based on the polling. Lets not let the polls keep us home on election day. It was so much fun watching the BBC after the vote. Their reporters were stunned at the outcome. Please God, let it be the same here.

One time Cong/House leader Eric Cantor lost big-time under similar conditions. His opponent Brat was from nowhere----never ran for office----in an uphill race against Majority Leader Boehner's right-hand man. Then-House Leader, Eric Cantor (R-Va), was considered untouchable and his reelection inevitable.
