Imagine if you are an analyst and said Trump was winning and the polls are not capturing his voters? You would be run out of town and that is what we are seeing.
Imagine if an analyst said Brexit would pass days before the vote or Reagan would win? Not only would they be run out on a rail, these pundiots are all Democrats, what do you think they are going to say?
Good logic,the bigger question is what are the real polling numbers and is Trump actually ahead at this time?Could well be.

Right after that there were loads of polls coming out that said it was a slam dunk to pass. Fortunately the Brits had paper ballots and the pro Brexit people made it a point to mark them with ink or felt tip pens.
