Donald is also working closely with small businesses which isn’t being mentioned very much. If the giant corporations don’t want to return, that’s OK because there are a ton of small businesses which stand to benefit without the interference by giant corps.

Once upon a time near the turn of the 1900’s, roughly 90% of all Americans were self employed. I’m not sure what the percentage is now, but I do know it’s not even close to what it used to be.

With Trump repealing many of the restrictions on business in addition to taxes, small business will have opportunity to grow which is something that’s hard to do right now. Many of the business restrictions were put in place by huge corps. to stifle competition.

Another thing not really addressed regarding the increased import tax is the idea that with small businesses flourishing, and the return of some of big business, people will once again have a CHOICE of whether or not to purchase that import, or to choose a less expensive but better quality American made product.

It would seem to me that in order for that import to compete with American made, they’re going to have to DROP the price of that item in order to squeeze in that 35% tax to the consumer. Of course, that reduces their profits.

Yep, I can see that competition begin already which is evidence on it’s own that what Trump proposes is indeed going to stimulate competition! Competition of course forces innovation which is good for business.

Business grows, business hires.

Hillary wants to cripple the wealthy but the wealthy are the ones who put that money out there in the form of business and jobs so that taxes CAN be paid!

I once worked for a millionaire and he was holding back on his money, because he knew that if Obama raised taxes again, it would break him. He couldn’t invest! He asked ME what I thought he should invest in, and at the time, I told him...GOLD. He’d of made a fortune if he listened to me. Don’t know if he did or not. I’m not a business person. But some things are pretty basic. Buy low, sell high. Gold was cheap at the time.

Hillary wants to tax the daylights out of the rich, make them pay their ‘fair share’. BUT, what people aren’t hearing is that she’s saying that individuals aren’t going to be allowed to become wealthy. That the government is going to determine how much money you can have, and they will take the rest.

FROM each according to their ability...TO each according to their need. The government will be the one to determine YOUR needs, and of course, it’s own needs are much more important than yours. Indeed, the proof is already there. Look at the current tax code. The only thing left to confiscate is the means of the wealthy. No wonder they moved their business away!

Trump has it right. Hillary is an idiot. Communism is stupid. Capitalism can recycle.

“...near the turn of the 1900’s, roughly 90% of all Americans were self employed. I’m not sure what the percentage is now”

I read recently that 7% of Americans are self employed or business owners.

That stat stuck with me because I own a business.
