Patriots head coach Bill Belichick started his press conference on Friday with a message of support for the Boston Police Department and two of its officers who were critically wounded in a shootout Wednesday night.
Before we get into Cincinnati, on behalf of the team, I just want to express our appreciation and support for the Boston Police Department, Belichick said. I cant imagine, but I can imagine the amount of stress that department has to deal with and their challenges every day, and the difficulty of the situation theyve been put in.

Belichick expresses his support for police and and recently wounded officers.
He’d better watch what he says or the BLM, NFL, SF’s (rhetorically injured Snowflakes) will come after him. And 0bama won’t invite him to the WH for a beer.
Belichick’s da man!
How Long until Goodell tries to suspend him for Racism against Blacks by publicly supporting the oppressors
Too bad your colleagues don’t feel the same way, Belichick. I’m done with the NFL. I’m not coming back when they try to start pandering to me, that’s just insulting.
From the article:
“Belichick said he wanted police in the department to know that the Patriots are behind them.
We appreciate them, we appreciate what they do for us, and how they protect us, he said. Were there for them.”
I'm tired of Goodell and the NFL too.
But this was Belichick. I don't think he was pandering.
I think he was sincere.
The San Diego Chargers and the NFL want San Diego voters to approve a billion dollar handout to the Chargers for a new stadium. Last night San Diego voters who watched the telecast saw Chargers giving black power salutes during the national anthem. Memo to Charger owner Spanos and Roger Goodell, San Diego is a military town. San Diego is not Oakland or San Francisco. You lost the vote of the people who matter, the taxpayers. We are not going to pay billionaire welfare bums to pay millionaire America haters.
San Diego voters to the NFL: Go piss up an anchor chain, preferably while it’s falling.
Belichick is a class act and it takes a bit of stones to put out a statement like this in the current environment. A lot of people don’t like him because of his dry press conferences, but that’s only because he has had 30 plus years of sports reporters asking insane questions.
I happen to enjoy him when he puts them in their place. Like a few years ago when the Pats had a slow start after 4 games, even getting beat 41-14 by KC, the reporters wanted to know if he was thinking of replacing Brady...the look on his face was priceless...better than watching a game.
The next week the Pats started a 13-2 run (while putting up 43, 37, 51, 43, 42, 34, and 41 in 7 of those games), ran through the playoffs scoring 35 and 45 points and won the Super Bowl.
I have never been a big fan (he always seems a bit sour), but he is by far the best coach of his generation. No arguments from me and I appreciate success. With that said, I give him big kudos for that statement and appreciate that he did that prior to starting to talk about a game.
Belichick is all about football. When the NFL orders players and coaches to wear pink, camo or certain clothes Belichick does the bare minimum. He started wearing his now famous hoodie because the NFL ordered the coaches to wear certain clothes so he chose what he thought was the most hideous outfit.
I missed that...because I am boycotting the NFL. FU Goodell and ilk.
Pats are great, but not my favorite team. Robert Kraft turned me off on being a fan of them.
