Boy! Do I feel abused. I worked for 52 years before retiring and I never encountered that problem. Apparently, I wasn’t worth assaulting or stalking. DARN!
Where DO these people get these lines from? Delivered well - they must be true and part of our history! From my knowledge of the past 60-70 years and movie star magazines (do they even exist anymore), it was a certain kind of WOMAN who aspired to get ahead who welcomed the overtures of bosses. Kind of like today’s affirmative action or landing jobs with hefty salaries because of political connections - not going to name names - but Chicago comes to mind.
