As the US officially enters the Yemen military campaign, the UK appears ready and willing to precipitate a catalytic event from which there is no going back. With relations between Russia and the West at post-Cold War lows and deteriorating fast, Royal Air Force (RAF) pilots have been given the go-ahead to shoot down Russian military jets when flying missions over Syria and Iraq, if they are endangered by them.

You do make a valid point. Zero Hedge often presents what can be called the Russian point of view. That’s why I took pains to check the original Sunday Times article.
Regardless, it seems like individual UK pilots now have the power to decide when they “endangered” enough to fire on Russian aircraft. No way is that a good thing.

Not only that, but Obama now can use this “problem” with the Russians for his own purposes: Hillary has already blamed the Russkies for interfering in the election via Wikileaks, and not-so-subtly hinted that they’re trying to commit fraud via electronic means at the ballot boxes (yeah, the old pot calling the kettle black game). Well, if Hillary loses, Obama can blame the Russians, and with the lawsuits that are INEVITABLE over the election results plus that, Obama has THE perfect opening to declare a state of emergency. When their are riots, and especially some violence with semi-auto rifles involved, he’ll use that as an excuse to try to confiscate them. Bottom line, he can easily use the Syrian situation and the election to stay in power (or, at least, he can try).
We are DEFINITELY living in interesting times. Best to not come to the attention of those in power during these times.
Some were others were but 30 minutes. I never understood why the time needed to be doubled anyway. Anything worth doing could be gotten out in 30 minutes. OK, enough of this...back to the question of ‘Who is Marshall Law?’. My bet is on a remake of Gunsmoke. Barry Soetoro will be the ‘new’ Matt Dillion and MIss Kitty will be played by a man. The series will air on CBS during prime time.
