The Era of Women

If the latest groping/kissing allegations against Trump hold up – and I assume they will, based on quantity if not credibility – it won’t matter what Wikileaks says about Clinton. She will win easily.

If Clinton wins, you’ll wonder if this invalidates the Master Persuader Hypothesis. The short answer is no, because the concept doesn’t account for unknowns of this magnitude. If a meteor had struck Trump a day before election day, it wouldn’t say much about his skill as a persuader. The Master Persuasion Hypothesis worked splendidly until the double-whammy of the Access Hollywood tape and the “octopus” meteor.

Trump could still win, but only if some new and unexpected meteor strikes Clinton. Here’s how I see it through the persuasion filter:

1. Facts and policies stopped mattering months ago. No one cares.

2. Wikileaks has no meteors to offer. The Wikileaks misdeeds involve people who are not Clinton, and they involve issues that are boring and a bit complicated. The public will not be much influenced by them.

3. The “octopus” line about Trump is engineered persuasion of the highest order. It makes the story deeply visual and extra-creepy. Godzilla, or someone similarly skilled, is probably behind that word. It’s too engineered for a civilian to concoct during an interview. That’s professional work. And it’s probably a golden stake through Trump’s political heart. (Well played.)

This is a good time to remind you that I endorse Gary Johnson because he only touches himself.

Anyway, getting to the point of this post, if Clinton wins, it will be because women voted for her in landslide proportions while men (on average) preferred Trump. And that means two things of historic importance.

1. We will elect the first woman to be President of the United States. That’s good for everyone.

and…

2. Everything that goes wrong with the country from this point forward is women’s fault.

I feel some relief about that. The next four years are likely to be some of the worst in our country’s history. The Republican establishment will make sure of that because a failed America is in their best interest in the short run. Four years from now they want to offer their chosen savior (Paul Ryan). Trump would have a good chance of bullying the Republican establishment as he has done so far. Clinton, not so much. She’ll be buried in scandals, both real and imagined.

Men had a good run. We invented almost everything, and that’s cool. But we also started all of the wars and committed most of the crimes. It’s a mixed record to be sure. Now it’s time for something different, apparently.

Hillary Clinton is all yours, ladies. She and her alleged rapist husband are your brand now. Wear them well.

I will probably give up voting after voting in every election, local and national since 1978.

What difference, at this point, does it make?

I agree.

Donald Trump has seriously threatened the status quo so they are doing everything in their power to destroy him. They would do the same to anyone or anything this close to taking them down. He threatened to prosecute our rulers. They have declared total war. The truth no longer matters.

There is not one single person on this planet that would not be attacked with similar accusations in this situation. Note even of they were a saint. Any of the other Republicans would have been torn apart by now. Trump has balls of iron. He is doing better than anyone else would...

If Trump looses then no honest person will EVER seek major political office again. There will be no reform within the system and change will come only in a red storm as in the French or Russian revolutions.

The election is shaping to be the greatest disaster in American History. And all because a man decided to try and “Make America Great Again.”

As Newt said on Hannity, this election is an attempted coup d'etat by the Left and the Media.

If they win, this country, as we know it, is gone.

I’m not sure I agree.
He might be right but there are women (like me for example) who are so tired of virtually every portrayal of women in the media as women = victim.

I don’t view myself as a victim and never have. This relentless portrayal of women as victims (and that pretty much being the totality of their experience as women) is most harmful to women whose experience doesn’t match or who refuse to view themselves that way regardless of their experience.

I’ve been accused of being ‘in the closet’ about being abused as a child (which I wasn’t) or an assault survivor (which I am not) the sole evidence being that I refuse to view myself as a victim. The theory is that if you won’t confess to being a victim of *something* then you’re hiding something.

Yes, over a lifetime I’ve occasionally encountered sexism and boorishness in a few men. Big deal. I still don’t see myself as a victim, as the media and Democrats want me to see myself.

In a sense, the media has made me a victim of their relentless woman=victim campaign because they’ve convinced just about everyone to see me as a victim of *something*. Only I’ve always fought back. I will not succumb to it. Part of that is doing everything I can to undermine the media and those who use it as a means to an end, even to an end I might otherwise agree with.

I’m pretty sure there are many other women like me, but whether there are enough of us, I can’t say. I know so many women; strong, smart, talented, and fortunate in every conceivable way, who nonetheless view themselves as victims. It’s an easy out in case of personal failure, so it’s somewhat understandable. It can pay to have a CYA “it’s not my fault” card to play in one’s hip pocket, just in case.

This is Clinton’s calling card and she wields it masterfully.

Pretty much everything since women’s suffrage was introduced is women’s fault.
I mean, does ANYTHING think we would have had Prohibition without women voting?

They may or may not be lies. But they are coming out with their accounts when it is precisely most lucrative to do so. There is no other moment when they could cash in more than right now.

That alone makes them suspect to me, but unfortunately, not everyone sees that.

Too many women benefit financially by playing victim, and it guides their votes. Just as they push this “lean in” line to get women more involved in higher functions at their jobs, I’ve “leaned back” and worked like a girl for the past 5 years - and will continue to do so until my compensation matches the less qualified token females promoted at my job solely to fend off lawsuits.

They don’t enjoy having someone expect them to work more than an 8-hour workday; I’m enjoying having no such expectations of me anymore.

I hear what you are saying but if you truly are "leaning back" on your job and not giving your all, then your compensation is not likely to improve to that of others - even if those others are "less qualified" in your opinion.

It works the same way for men too.

Hard work and/or company politics (usually a combo of the two) is what moves you up the corporate ladder. Having the attitude that "I'll pretend to work as long as they pretend to pay me" never gets a good result.

You are seriously behind in the truth regarding Trump and Epstein.

Keep your hate down, it’s disturbing to read so much untruth

I’m STILL waiting for evidence that these women have valid claims against Trump.

Amen Lorianne, I’m right there with you!

It’s a sick thing these feminists have imposed on naive women, and I see it all the time.

My radar is always on alert for the victim mentality and run as fast and far as I can from it.

The thing is, so many women want to be treated like precious, delicate little feathers or snowflakes. One woman, advice columnist Amy Alkon, blogs disdainfully about it frequently. You can check her site out at www.advicegoddess.com in the blog section.

Be forewarned though, she is a Hillary supporter, although everything she discusses seems to go against supporting America's most well-known Muslim-loving professional victim.

Absolutely 100% agree.

This election is going to be a disaster for America unless Trump overcomes them. He is a fighter and just might do it. He has my support in anything he does. Fight!

If Hillary steels this election and is placed on the throne by organized power and money I wish her luck- she will need it.

The Democrats, Wall Street, media, NeverTrump “Republicans” etc are the 21st equivalent of the KGB coup plotters that tried to overthrow Gorbachev. This country is in crisis and is ungovernable. If they destroy Trump they are also bringing the house down with themselves in it.

This crooked rigged election is destroying the legitimacy of the state and will be the crucible of radicalism on both the right and left. We are in for some very interesting times....

They don’t have to be valid claims.
They just have to be wielded at the precise right time ... which they are.

There is no time to discredit them all, and even if you did, there would be legions more brought up right behind them.

All you have to ask is “why now?”

Trump has been in the public eye for virtually his entire life. He has known or had dealings or brief encounters with probably MILLIONS of people. He as simply been in a room with or elevator with or nearby within hearing range of probably millions more with no encounter at all. Every one of those people could possibly be bought off to make up some unflattering claim about him.

We will elect the first woman to be President of the United States. That’s good for everyone

Why?

That's the same reasoning as Dennis Prager (and others) who "swelled with pride" that America had elected a black man.

If electing Obama didn't make you want to vomit, there's something seriously wrong with you. Same goes for HRC.
