Just because he was critical of certain people/organizations (and the 2 you cited definitely deserve criticism) doesn't make him a raving leftist.

Several years ago the Weekly Standard (yeah, I know) did a long article on Dylan's politics. They concluded that to the extent he's partisan at all he leans toward the right. An interesting piece.
Didn’t Dylan hint he supported Romney in 2012. I recall him saying he thought Romney would win just a few days before the election. Also Dylan converted to Christianity at one point in his life.
