Washington Rep. Congressman Dave Reichart says he won’t vote for Donald Trump in the wake of his “comments and blatant disrespect for women.”

He says that Trump has lost his vote due to his comments in a video from 2005 recently shared by the Washington Post.

“As a son, husband, father and grandfather I am appalled by Donald Trump’s comments and blatant disrespect for women,” Reichert writes in his statement. “The actions described in that video are absolutely reprehensible.”

Thank you for referencing that article Baynative. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

"Washington Rep. Congressman Dave Reichart says he won’t vote for Donald Trump in the wake of his “comments and blatant disrespect for women.”"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Since the only sex-related issue that the states have amended the Constitution to expressly protectet deals only with voting rights as evidenced by the 19th Amendment, the feds actually have no constitutional authority outside the scope of voting rights to regulate, tax and spend in the name of women’s issues imo.

So I don’t know where Representative Reichart is coming from concerning not supporting Trump because of Trump’s alleged disrespect for women, other than low-information Reighert must be a part of the corrupt, women-exploiting, Trump-hating Washington cartel.

Remember in November !

Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for making America great again for everybody, but will also put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional inteference in state affairs as evidenced by unconstitutional interference in state powers dealing with womens’ affairs.

Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.

Reichert is just the type of blue state GOP careerist who will vanish in a Democrat Reich. I suppose he’d try to run as a Dem. He’s a fool running against Trump.

I just wrote Reichart on his Campaign Website. Here is what I sent him...
*****

Dear Congressman Reichart,

My name is Joseph xxxxx, and you are my Congressman. I live in Covington, Wa,

You recently stated publicly that you will not vote for Donald Trump, the chosen Nominee for President in our party. Trump won in our state with 75.8% of the vote in the primary.

It must be nice that you feel safe enough to state NOT voting for Trump and think you will be reelected because of that,

By not voting for Trump is ensuring that the Clinton’s are back in the White House.

I will NOT be voting for you unless you change your support and publicly state you support the Nominee and encourage others to vote for him.

Donald Trump is the Nominee, and your constituents have already voted for him.

You have to run every two years, this year you will NOT get my vote, and I will find someone else to support in the next primary in two years to defeat you unless you understand just how upset we all are with how the Republican Party has abandoned people like me and our views for Constitutional Rights.

I also plan to tell all of my neighbors, and everyone else I come in contact with, which is a lot.

Your voting record over the last year has been pretty good, but this is a line in the sand.

3-5 Supreme Court appointees over the next four years, and you are blatantly supporting Clinton, who should be in Jail by stating you will not vote for Trump.

I look forward to your response.

My email to Mark Hargrove just bounced back, I called and left him a message.

I’ll post if Reichart’s email gains me a response...

Reichert is just the type of blue state GOP careerist who will vanish in a Democrat Reich.

You're right... he puts his finger in the air a hundred times a day to see which way the wind is blowing... that's where he goes. He's also the kind who - when the dust settles - 'follows orders (3rd) Reich style' if you know what I mean.

His office already has me on record as a no vote because of his support for Bohner.
Reichart is just a dem. I may as well vote for feces.
I think I will just right in ‘feces’.

Reichert was my Congressman until he was redistricted after the 2010 Census.

In all fairness, Reichert, a Republican, could not have been elected in my district had he not been the lead detective on the Green River serial murders. He was (is) center-left on every issue that matters to me, but he has always been a stalwart defender of law and order, even on most immigration issues.

Just to give you an idea about the political sympathies in Reichert’s old district, our current Congressman is Adam Smith (a Democrat, LOL!), who got almost 75% of the vote in 2014.

Our current State Senator is a Republican. He co-sponsored Washington's gay marriage law several elections ago!

Reichert is a Globalist Statist, just like Paul Ryan. Reichert thinks TPP is wonderful. He bragged about all th jobs that TPP would bring to the Seattle area, garment worker job, express delivery jobs within the ports and Tech jobs, writing apps to track packages at the ports. These would be for the H1-B visa workers of course. TPP creates jobs for immigrants at Gateway Ports in the US.
