Washington Rep. Congressman Dave Reichart says he wont vote for Donald Trump in the wake of his comments and blatant disrespect for women.
He says that Trump has lost his vote due to his comments in a video from 2005 recently shared by the Washington Post.
As a son, husband, father and grandfather I am appalled by Donald Trumps comments and blatant disrespect for women, Reichert writes in his statement. The actions described in that video are absolutely reprehensible.

I am not sure what to do. I did a lot of phone-banking for state repubs from his office in July and August. I still love my state guys, but not sure I want to set foot in Reichert’s office again.
This is what I sent him:
It is unfortunate that in this Congressional race, probably your tightest one yet, that you have alienated a substantial portion of your dedicated voters by your rash disavowal of Trump.
You obviously never learned from the schoolyard phrase “sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me”. Trumps words were just words. Hillary has the sticks and stones that have destroyed the lives of women raped by her husband, and she has the sticks and stones to continue the ruin of our economy, our healthcare system, our military, and our world standing.
You are voting about words, the rest of us, who truly care about the futures of our children and country are voting against Hillary for her sticks and stones.
You stand behind the shield of your wife and children, saying your vote against Trump is for them. Explain to your grandchildren your complicity in destroying our country.
It breaks my heart that for the first time in my entire life, I will be voting for a Democrat. And I am not alone.
Um, a House seat?
He's a worm, but you should still vote for him unless there is a third-party candidate with a good attitude and a realistic chance of winning (highly unlikely).
Remember, President Trump will need a GOP congress if he is to get anything done beyond abrogating Zero's executive orders.
Principle has no place in the voting booth. The objective of voting is to enact the best outcome, not to feel good about yourself.
I recall how it took Reichert weeks to decide whether to run as a Republican or a Dumbocrat. He finally decided he stood a better chance of getting elected as an “R”. At the time it was obvious he made the decision on which was best for HIM, and not for which one he really believed in. He’s voted as a democrat more often than as a Republican. He’s really a Dem at heart, thus all the “wrong” votes.

Reichert is a wimpy RINO. He lost my respect years ago.
