I believe that most Mormons are patriotic Conservatives. But what we saw happen in many denominations, as long as three generations ago, Leftist academics managed to shame the susceptible into apologizing for their families' traditional values.

My suggestion is that what is going on is that the Politically Correct Mormons, like Romney, are trying to distance themselves from their own heritage, and are so caught up in the process, that they absolutely cannot see the forest for the trees. (No, I do not pretend that that is an original metaphor.)

Let us take every opportunity to juxtapose what Trump stands for and what Mrs. Clinton stands for, and ask of anyone who claims to be remotely fair, how he or she can sacrifice the precious difference.
