The Republican Party planned to divert funds away from its presidential candidate Donald Trump and instead focus on down-ballot candidates, according to a party official informed of the decision, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday.
That meant the party planned to try to mobilize voters to support its House and Senate candidates even if those voters intended to vote for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, a marked shift in its previous strategy, the report said.

the lady who owned my home before me was a raging hippy and I still receive some of her mail, including her Hillary for President mailers. I get tons of them but rarely see anything for Trump although I’m registered Republican. She really is out-advertising Trump. He’d better cut loose some of those millions and start printing. The election is right around the corner

I got the swarmiest e-mail from John McCain stating that he wanted to make SURE that I clearly understood he was NOT backing Trump and that he and Cindy would NOT be voting for Trump. What a slimebucket. He even had the brass ones to state that Trump wasn’t his first choice. AAAAAAAAAAACH.
I wrote him back that HE was NEVER my first choice either but I voted for him and that he had lost every ounce of respect I might have had for him.
The attack was coordinated with our very own WI Paul Ryan. His baby crocodile tears didn’t cut it with me. I have written HIM, Senator Ron Johnson and my rep Sensenbrenner (who has been hiding under his desk - he’s unopposed again) and no response from any of them.

Yes, some of the money is going to the RNC for the get out the vote operation...seems fair, but FR itself has stories that Trump is getting shafted. Not certain what the truth is, though.

I have read other stories that said the RNC is doing a good job on behalf of Trump. I guess in any organization, you have good offices and bad ones. Not certain of the truth. I read where Ohio was doing a good job for Trump, which is good since he has to win that state.
