Yes, he did. The tension of combat can get through sometimes, even to one of the truest heroes America has produced in the last Century; but in Paton’s case more through concern for his overall command, than his personal safety. Paton, of course, also had some views of the male/female drama that would have bothered some of the sanctimonious twits, who seek to curry favor with the PC media by wringing their hands over some tasteless fantasizing by a man whose shoes they are not fit to shine, eleven years ago.

But that said, I will focus on getting that contemporary civilian Paton elected; leaving the sanctimonious twits to wake up or stew in their own bile.
