MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley, United States Representative Martha Roby (R-AL) and Congressman Bradley Byrne (R-AL) denounced Republican candidate Donald Trump on Saturday following a controversial recording that emerged this week.
Recordings obtained by the Washington Post caught Trump on a live microphone speaking to Billy Bush, who worked for Access Hollywood at the time, talking about making sexual advances on women, one of whom was married. Trump has since released an apology in regards to the comments made in 2005, but many GOP lawmakers have expressed their disapproval, including U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan.
Gov. Bentley announced on Saturday that he can no longer vote for Trump, according to the Associated Press.
Bentley, Roby, and Byrne are not the only Republican lawmakers calling for Trump to step down as the nominee, as they join Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz and Representative Mike Coffman of Colorado.
This entire charade is going to backfire big time. I have a bunch of family and friends over today (about 24) to watch the Patriots (Brady’s comeback).
While most lean Republican, they aren’t all Trump supporters and most aren’t very political. Yet 100% say the issue is so overblown and gives sympathy to Trump, especially with criminals like Hillary and Bill Clinton as the opponents.
Has Bentley been impeached yet
When did "balls" become okay language, but "pussy" is not? I'm not suggesting that the latter be added to the regular lexicon, but where is the balance?
And I purposely did not hide the words.

What was it she called Dick Morris?
Bentley has scant room for criticism...again Trump is casting the dyes on the DISLOYAL sociopathic globalists running the country.
McCain called his wife c—t and Gov Bentley trawled for a prostitute.
They’re sitting in judgment of Trump? I’m sick of them.
Well, this confirms what we all know. The GOP stands for Grand Old Pus.... You can fill in the rest. Trump will be the lion that roars tonight!
One thing is very clear from the last few days .
Regardless of the result this November , The GOP cannot be saved . It is riddled from top to bottom with cowardly , Marxist traitors .
We need a new party in Trumps own image . Patriotic ,pro - Constitution , anti PC and with sensible approaches to tax and debt.
And, IIRC, Bentley’s first act during the primaries was to encore John Kasich.
Absolutely.
Notice how quiet Romney and the others got for several weeks after the Convention. Hardly a peep out of them.
And yet, they had their pearl clutching retractions and canned outrage ready within minutes of this story hitting the wire.
Why don’t any of these nutless wonders come out and say “I really don’t support that kind of language, but I certainly don’t support putting an unindicted criminal in the Whitehouse”?
You can say that again.
It is becoming more and more apparent every day as to just how bad the elected officials have been. Its a good old boys club and the stupid ‘deplorable’ citizens be damned. Follow the money. Follow the money. Follow the money. and F..K the rest. Get out the Guillotines.
Speaking of dirty old men . . .
Because they DO “support putting an unindicted criminal in the Whitehouse but can’t publicly admit it.
Chaffetz running to the microphones at midnight Friday is all the proof you need that this was an establishment hit.
I don’t get these guys. To be consistent they should condemn rap culture, Islam, and what is on television.
It seems that this is more important than Benghazi, Hillary having her own server, deleting emails, etc. Maybe these things are too hard for people to understand because most people in this country are dumb as rocks.
This is craziness.
Jeff Sessions is the only member of Congress worth spit from Alabama...
